Natural Killer (NK) Cell Treatment

Natural Killer cells (also known as NK cells) are a type of white blood cell that play a vital role in rejecting and eliminating virally infected and tumor cells. According to studies, NK cells’ ability to destroy cancer cells is almost 100 times higher than that of other white blood cells. NK cells gradually decrease with age, which is why older people are prone to chronic diseases and cancer. But new technology developments have made it possible to extract NK cells from the body, multiply and strengthen them, before injecting back into patients to increase their chances of surviving cancer.

Lymphokine-Activated Killer (LAK) Cell Treatment

Technological advancements have enabled scientists to improve the quality and proliferation of white blood cells. The process involves stimulating white blood cells with cytokine to turn them into Lymphokine-Activated Killer (LAK) cells with a high potential to fight the growth and multiplication of cancer cells. LAK cells also help improve the immune system.

Dendritic Cell (DC) Vaccine

Cell therapy is a promising approach to cancer treatment. It can be used in combination with chemotherapy to lessen the side effects and improve outcomes. However, cell therapy isn’t an option for the majority of cancer patients due to its high costs. Dendritic Cell (DC) vaccination is a great alternative to cell therapy. Producing a DC vaccine requires a sample of the patient’s white blood cells, from which dendritic cells will be isolated and matured outside of the body. The dendritic cells are then injected back into the patient, where they will interact with T cells to stimulate a highly targeted immune response against the cancer cells.

LSV offers:

Supportive Treatment in Cancer Patients during their Cancer Treatments

Immunotherapy has been used in many types of cancer therapy over the years. And we have had cases where our patients have escaped death by cancer. The key idea is to enhance the development of cell-mediated immunity. We provide supportive treatment during Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. A treatment package is designed to suit individual needs.

Some of our main support treatments include:

  • Vitamin C for Cancer Cells Starving and overall healing support.

  • GC-MAF treatment in order to activate a higher number of macrophages, enhancing the patient’s immune system to kill the cancer cells.

  • Vitamin B17 (Amygdalin) causing a mechanism, called apoptosis, that programs cell death to protect our bodies from cancer.

 Additional Information on Supportive Treatment.

Vitamin C

  • There are studies that Vit C might boost the effectiveness of other cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy, or reduce treatment side effects

  • Pharmacologic levels of Vit C can not be reached by oral administration

  • Essential micronutrient for humans (but humans unable to produce VC by ourselves)

  • Vit C neutralises free radicals that can cause great damage to organs

  • Eg. in some inflammatory illnesses, the formation of free radicals overwhelm our body’s ability to repair

  • High dose IV: abdominal pain relief, constipation relief, detoxification support, weight loss

  • Vit C and Cancer: High-dose Vit C may help improve the adverse side effects of conventional cancer treatments (chemo & radiation). Side effects may include nausea, fatigue, vomiting

  • Vit C can be combined with amygdalin + DMSO

  • Recent studies: pharmacologic concentrations (7.5 - 50g) killed cancer cells but not normal cells. This is because Vit C triggers a mechanism that causes hydrogen peroxide formation–leading to the death of cancer cells. Human cells can protect themselves from this mechanism, hence only cancer cells die.

Vitamin B-17 (Amygdalin)

  • Recent studies show: Amygdalin induces apoptosis; increasing one cellular protein and reduces another

  • Mechanism: Apoptosis (a way for your body to keep itself healthy)

    • Programs cell death to protect our bodies from cancer

    • An infected or cancerous cell commits suicide to protect neighbouring cells from pathogen/cancer invasions

    • Prevent cancer cells from dividing or creating more cancer cells

  • Food sources: pits and seeds of apricot, peaches, papaya, apples; Raw almonds; lime beans, mung beans, butter beans; Clover; Sorghum; Carrots; Celery; Bean Sprouts; Nuts; Flaxseed

  • Alternative methods: Avoid smoking and tobacco use, Get recommended screenings, follow a healthy diet, exercise regularly, maintain a healthy weight

Side effects & safety concerns: cyanide poisoning [ Vit C may boost the amount of cyanide laetrile released into the body, and lead to increased risk of toxicity ], blue colouring of skin, confusion, nerve damage, dizziness, liver damage, migraine, low BP, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Coma, Death

Cancer Immunotherapy (Gc-MAF)

  • Gc-MAF (Gc Protein-derived macrophage-activating factor)

  • A type of immunotherapy

  • Treatment that enhances the immune system to kill cancer

  • The body makes Gc-MAF protein to activate macrophages (white blood cells that the Immune System sends to kill pathogens (bacteria or cancer)

  • But cancer cells thought to release an enzyme called Nagalase that blocks the production of Gc-MAF to protect themselves against the Immune system attack

  • Gc-MAF treatment aims to activate more macrophages
